DERALE CHALKS UP ANOTHER
WIN IN BAJA

The results are in and the Derale “Can Do” Race team
has won back to back years in the much anticipated Tecate SCORE
Baja 1000. The team finished the grueling 1047 mile race in just
over 24 hours. This Class 5 Baja just seems to be running on all
cylinders with two wins in Baja and last years crowning of the
2005 SCORE International Class Championship.
Derale proves again that they are truly the leader in performance
cooling.

SEMA SHOW UPDATE
2006 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Derale Cooling Products was a very
popular place during this year’s SEMA Show. If you are
not familiar with the Show, it is a trade-only event where anything
and everything an automotive enthusiast could possibly imagine
is on display. There were over two million square feet of exhibits
in 11 different categories vying for attention, with buyers from
over 100 countries in attendance at the Las Vegas Convention
Center. The annual SEMA Show has become one of the largest hosted
by a city known for conventions of all types. In the New Products
section alone, over 1,400 innovative new products were on display
with over 5,000 exhibitors from around the globe.
In our booth we had the new Hyper-Cool Remote Cooler, a stacked
plate cooler featuring our powerful and efficient 8” Tornado
fan secured by a full, laser-cut aluminum shroud. The Hyper-Cool
is a perfect solution for heavy and extreme duty needs for todays
popular trucks and SUV’s which are counted on for towing
and hauling heavy loads. As the pioneer in the Remote Cooling
category, Derale has four different types of remote coolers,
each specifically tailored for an intended use and budget.
We also featured our new 4” & 5” Tornado electric
fans which were developed in response to the popularity of the
huge Powersports market that include the Yamaha Rhino and other
similar all terrain vehicles. These fans have also been requested
for people in non-automotive applications such as computers and
audio electronics.
Our new 14” Rad Fan was also on display, joining the 17” version
brought out last year. Both feature a patented ratchet mounting
system that allow each to be used as true pusher and puller fans,
requiring no fan reversal or wiring changes. You simply bolt
it where you need it and that is that. The new 14” version
also has the unique two-speed motor which allows the fan the
ability to match your cooling needs, dependant upon driving conditions.
The SEMA Show is the largest show of its kind in the world,
and for one week a year there is no better place to be for those
of us that live, work and play in the automotive aftermarket.
Here are a few photos from the show.

HOT AUGUST NIGHTS
Derale
Cooling Products was present and accounted for at the 20th Annual
Hot August Nights extravaganza held in Reno/Sparks Nevada. Free
concerts, dances, a swap meet, an auction, street vendors, the
Big Boys Toy Store and of course, the CARS – over
5,500 in all – converged to make this the biggest and best
car show yet.
If you couldn’t or didn’t make it this year, mark
your calendars for next year because there really is no other
event like it anywhere. Warm weather, good friends and a mix
of cars, trucks and hot rods, many of which you just won’t
see anywhere else are all great reasons to be there.
The Derale booth at the Big Boys Toy Store in downtown Reno
was a very popular place to be, and thanks to all those who took
the time to stop by and say Hi as well as learn about our ever-growing
line of engine, transmission and other related Performance Cooling
products.
Our new 17” two-speed electric fan, Part No. 16217 was
an especially popular item amongst booth visitors. Many hot rod
and muscle car entrants asked to buy it on the spot, so they
could get HOME without further overheating problems. Call our
Customer Service Department at (800) 421- 6288 to find out more
about this truly innovative product. There is nothing else like
it on the market.
